Service, support, and dedicated altruism – Dilip Dhanraj Gupta, selected among the top 40 youth politicians in India, emerged with the rise of ‘Sankalpit.’ Slowly inspired, the movement grew, and people joined. ‘Sankalpit’ gained the public’s trust in a short time. A long-standing army of dedicated workers faces challenges, making ‘Sankalpit’ a real force. The continuous collaboration of youth and experienced individuals is an ongoing process. In this series, ‘Sankalpit Mandasaur’ transformed into ‘Sankalpit Bharat,’ inspiring organizations across the country.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, ‘Sankalpit’ emerged as a ray of hope, gradually winning people’s trust. Dilip Dhanraj Gupta and his team have been active in the Mandasaur-Neemuch-Ratlam region for a long time. They are recognized for their involvement in education, employment, issues related to public interest, and other administrative challenges. Still, the fight against the Corona pandemic gave them a distinct identity.

In 2020, when the pandemic knocked on the region’s door, ‘Sankalpit’ took the initiative to provide essential supplies like vegetables, grains, meal packets, medicines, and more to those in need. Although the situation remained normal with the collaboration of various organizations and volunteers, as the second wave of COVID-19 became effective in 2021, the number of social workers decreased gradually, and the trend of representatives going missing began. Suddenly, a sense of disappointment and anger grew among the public. While challenges increased in the ‘Sankalpit’ arena, the fight led by ‘Sankalpit’ warriors against the odds started differentiating them. Continuous help was provided in terms of oxygen, cylinders, Remdesivir, plasma, hospital admissions, etc. The name ‘Sankalpit’ instilled confidence, trust, and a sense of security in the public. People from all walks of life, irrespective of religion, caste, or class, are part of those who contribute and benefit from ‘Sankalpit.’ You too can be a dedicated ‘Sankalpit’ through service, support, and commitment.
